GENERAL INFORMATION

 
 

TIME AND LOCATION

The event will take place in Suzanne von Liebig Theatre at Juniata College. The event will start on April 29th at 2:00 PM and conclude at 5:45 PM tentatively. 


SEATING

General tickets are guaranteed seating. However, due to the large group of audience, we strongly suggest you to arrive at least 20 minutes before the event begins.

MERCHANDISE

We will be selling T-shirts and the profit will be used to organize the event next year. We only sell them at the event, however, you can reserve the T-shirt as soon as you finish the registration. The reserved T-shirts must be purchased prior to the second session. All sales are final. For those who cannot attend the event but still wish to purchase one, please come to the lobby of Suzanne von Liebig Theatre at any time between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. 


RECEPTION

The check-in booth will be open 45 minutes before the event start. The door will be closed as soon as the event begins. You must bring your student/photo ID with you. Although our system will provide you an electronic ticket, you do not have to bring it with you to the event. 
 

 

TICKETS

General Admission: $25
Juniata Students: Free
We have a very limited number of tickets and they are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Juniata Students must register online as individuals. General attendees can purchase tickets through our website. Each person can only buy 1 ticket. 
Tickets for Juniata Students are sold out. However, you can submit a request to remain on our wait-list. We will contact you as soon as a ticket become available. 


REFRESHMENTS

We will provide complimentary refreshments at the 10-minute breaks between sections. Please note that no food is allowed to bring in the theatre.

 

VOLUNTEER AT THE EVENT

If you would like to volunteer at our event, please send us your information to tedx@clubs.juniata.edu by April 19 and put the subject as "Your Name + Volunteer Application." There are four positions available: Sales (1 person), Special Assistants (4 people), Lounge Assistants (2 people), Backstage Assistant (1 person). More information about the roles can be found here. 


PHOTOGRAPHY

You are welcome to take photos at the event, however flash is not permitted. Please be aware that we will be live-streaming this event. There will be volunteer photographers at our event. Please feel free to ask them to take a picture for you. All of our photos will be put on our Facebook page. For high resolution images, please send your request to tedx@clubs.juniata.edu
